One trip, the whole way through, with everyone doing their share. Here is what the organiser does at each step, what everyone else does, and where Hector helps.

Step 1 of 6

Start it.

The organiser
Four quick steps: where, when, the trip, the group. Then share the link. It ends in a nine-letter code anyone can type in instead.
Everyone else
Open the link, or type the code into Crowdtrip, tap Join, and you’re in. No approval needed, unless the organiser turns on Invite only.

Everyone answers.

The organiser
Sees who’s answered and who the trip is still waiting on.
Everyone else
Paint your free days, then say your budget and what you want. Once, and it’s there for the whole trip.

He drafts a nudge for the group chat. You send it.

Step 3 of 6

Lock it in.

The organiser
Sets the dates. The windows that suit the most people come first, so it’s usually one tap, and everyone gets a “Dates are set” announcement. Open questions become polls.
Everyone else
Save ideas to the trip and like the ones you want. Answer a poll with a tap.

He drafts the poll. You post it.

Step 4 of 6

Book it and keep it.

The organiser
Checks rates for a hotel with the trip’s nights already filled in. Books, then forwards the confirmation email: Hector reads it and drafts the plan item and the cost to review.
Everyone else
Documents and references live in the trip, shared with everyone, the organisers or just you, so there’s no need to ask.

Step 5 of 6

On the trip.

The organiser
Posts an announcement once, not in five chats, and gives everyone a to-do, like checking their passport, with who’s done it.
Everyone else
The trip opens on what’s next and today’s weather, and the plan shows the travel time between stops. Snap a receipt and split it, even with no signal: the phone keeps it and sends it later.

He drafts the announcement. You post it.

Step 6 of 6

Afterwards.

Everyone
Everyone’s photos in one shared album, sorted for you, and the trip’s recap: where you went, what made the plan, who brought what.
The money
The trip shows who owes whom. Settle up between yourselves at the end, and mark it paid.
